Sarasota Jungle Gardens owners will not sell property
By ROBERT ECKHART The family that runs Sarasota Jungle Gardens has decided not to sell the 11-acre property to the county and state after two years of negotiations. Money for the purchase would have come from the county's Environmentally Sensitive Land Acquisition Program and the state's Florida Communities Trust.
